The black walnut boards for the archway were given to us by Jimmy Hedden. The boards were about 16 inches wide, before Jon cut them to go through the planer. Jimmy's gift to us will always we appreciated and enjoyed. The photo on the right is with the polyurethane finish.
While we were home in February, we planed and sanded the red oak for the moldings and doorways, and did all the trimming. The photo on the right was taken April 8, after finishing all the trim and floors.
