Joe and Mary Holland came to help Monday, June 10. Joe and Jon finished the final details on the electric, telephone, and satellite wiring. With the excellent help from John Lathrop and Joe, we passed the electric inspection without a glitch.
Tuesday morning, after the inspector left, Jon and Joe worked like two mad men cutting and hanging insulation on most of the interior walls. Joe became proficient in cutting the insulation as Jon needed it. Mary wasn't watching Jon all the time. She and I got caught up on the clean-up jobs and did several other odd jobs. Wednesday morning Joe, Mary and I went to the Scottish Tartans Museum & Heritage Center. Jon stayed home to work..
Oscar, a Columbian, with Martin's Insulation Company arrived with a load of insulation shortly after we left for the museum. He had been told to drop off the insulation for the job to start Thursday. However; he doesn't speak or understand English very well, so he started hanging insulation. Jon became Oscar's helper. Oscar worked like a man possessed.
Below is a photo of how the insulation looked in the master bedroom.
