THE SEVEN DAY HOUGIE HEAVEN HOUSE RAISING CAME TO AN END AT 9:45 PM JUNE 16.

THE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN BY CAROLYN SUNDAY, JUNE 17 IN THE MORNING.
At 9:45 PM the last piece of metal roofing  went on.  Jon and Frank descended from the roof on the ladder with a light from the ground to light their way.  Frank had said he was not leaving until the roof was on, and he kept his word.  He had contacted his boss and ask to extend his vacation one more day.  Joe John came from Bridgeport, Al to assist Jon, Frank, Terry, Joe, Kathy, and  Linda with the roofing job.  Gail assisted Carolyn and Susie in the kitchen. They stayed until Sunday morning.  Frank's family, Linda, and Joe left for Mobile, AL, after photos were taken of the finished project.   Monday morning, Kathy, David, and Jade started their long journey to Audubon, MN.  Once again, Jon and Carolyn are alone at Hougie Heaven.  It took a couple days to take down tents and get the place back to normal.  It was a sad time for us.  We had talked about the house raising for such a long and it went so quickly.   A special thanks for all who sacrificed time and money to help us.  We are forever grateful.
