Laying Sub-floor for 2nd floor, June 13, Day Four
On the first floor, Helen, Paige and Brad cut and placed insulation in the headers. Brad and Paige precut top plates, bottom plates and top caps. Grant, Kathy Ater, Bev and Kathy Gandrud precut 135 studs. They developed an assembly process that went smoothly. Tommy was kept busy cleaning up the scrap pieces of wood. He had fun hauling it down to be burned. There were many jobs being done at the same time.
