MORNING OF JUNE 10, Day One
CONSTRUCTION CREW IN ACTION
Grant, a friend from Florida carried the 2X6 studs from the pre-cut stack for Jon and Gerry, Jon's brother from Minnesota, to check to see if they could be used for the construction of the east wall.
Frank, Carolyn's brother, and Joe, a friend, arrived from Alabama June 7 ready to start work June 9. Frank was kept busy with the circular saw cutting for the walls.
This photo was taken by Bruce Taylor, a friend from Florida. He arrived each day around noon to take photos of the progress. The east and west walls were almost ready to be raised at noon.
Bruce's wife, Lynda took it upon herself to bake cookies and desserts for each day. We all put on a few pounds, but it was a pleasure.
