HOUGIE HEAVEN HOUSE RAISING
SETTING TRUSSES AND LAYING SUB-FLOORING, MAY 5-7
Saturday, May 5, Jon and Joe Holland, a friend from Tunnel Hill, GA, set the floor trusses. The plastic tank will hold water for our old fashion hand pump, that will be in the walnut cabinet in the kitchen. We will have this a back-up for water and for decor.
Sunday, Jon and Joe put in the blocking and most of the OSB sub-flooring into place, and finished the job Monday. Tuesday, they covered the OSB with heavy construction plastic. The swan dance was a spontaneous response to seeing me with the camera.
